This interior fit-out interprets the archetypes of hearth and library in the context of a small contemporary urban townhouse. The existing unit-fireplace was enhanced by the addition of shelving to define a mantle. And a discreet library, just large enough for a person to comfortably browse, provides over 20 feet of shelving and a built in table.
